Fast, calm repairs for broken, hacked or offline WordPress websites.
When a WordPress site breaks, it rarely happens at a convenient time.
A plugin update, a hosting issue, or a small change can suddenly take everything offline — and it’s not always obvious why.
Website Rescue is designed for exactly these moments: fast diagnosis, calm explanation, and safe repair — without making things worse.

The first priority is always to stabilise your site and stop the damage from spreading.
Flat $250 Rescue Fee — No Surprises
The standard Website Rescue is a flat AUD $250 and covers the first three hours of hands-on troubleshooting and repair. This covers the most common WordPress rescue scenarios and solves the majority of emergency issues.
All pricing is in AUD and currently GST-free.
- If the work is completed within the included time, there’s nothing more to pay.
- If the issue is more complex, I’ll explain why and discuss options before continuing.
- Multiple related issues can usually be handled within the same rescue.
Hacked, Broken, Offline or Glitchy WordPress Websites
If your site is showing any of the following symptoms, Website Rescue is the right place to start:
- Hacked or infected WordPress sites, including spam content and malicious redirects.
- White Screen of Death, fatal errors, PHP warnings and plugin/theme conflicts.
- Slow-loading or timing-out sites, especially on budget hosting.
- Broken WordPress layouts after updates, theme changes or page builder issues.
- Checkout, payment or form failures that stop customers from completing actions.
- Weird redirects, SSL or mixed content warnings.
- DNS or hosting hiccups after a move or registrar change.
- Host migration, backup restore and “my site just vanished” issues.
Included in Every Website Rescue
Every rescue is handled methodically, so we fix the issue and understand why it happened.
- Rapid diagnosis and first actions to stabilise your site.
- Security cleanup and patching for hacked or infected sites.
- Rollbacks, restores or targeted fixes for bad updates.
- Performance tuning to remove obvious slowdowns.
- Safe backups taken before and after work.
- Plain-English notes on what went wrong, what I fixed and recommended next steps.
- No-fix, no-fee.
The goal isn’t just to fix the problem — it’s to leave your site stable, secure, and understandable.
I work primarily with WordPress, but I can sometimes help with other platforms on a case-by-case basis.

If your site is slow but not broken, you may be better served by Website Performance optimisation.
How the WordPress Website Rescue Process Works
Website Rescue work begins once your intake and payment are complete. If a fix is likely to take longer than the included time, I’ll pause and check with you first.
Fixing websites under pressure requires a calm and methodical approach.
Quick Diagnosis
You tell me what’s happening and how urgent it is. I take a quick look to confirm the issue, check your hosting environment and assess whether a rescue is the right fit.
Upfront Start
If we go ahead, just complete a short intake form and pay the flat rescue fee. I’ll then ask for the access I need — usually WordPress admin, hosting and sometimes domain or DNS logins.
Fix & Verify
I stabilise the site, fix the underlying problem and test key user journeys (such as checkout or contact forms). You get a summary of what happened, what I changed and any recommended follow-up work.
“No fix, no fee” — no lock-in
If I can’t repair the underlying issue, you don’t pay. If the job looks like it will run longer than the included time, I pause and check with you before continuing.
Once your site is stable, I’ll explain what caused the issue and outline sensible next steps — whether that’s performance improvements, ongoing care, or simply leaving things as they are.

Frequently Asked Questions
A Website Rescue is an emergency repair service for broken, hacked, or slow websites — most often WordPress. I diagnose the issue, restore your site, secure it, and make sure everything’s working again — fast. Think of it as digital roadside assistance for your website.
For emergencies, I aim to reply within 15 minutes during business hours and as soon as possible after hours. Most sites are back online within 24 hours, depending on the issue and access provided.
I specialise in WordPress, which powers over 40% of the web. However, I can often help with other platforms (like Wix or Shopify) on a case-by-case basis.
My policy is simple: no fix, no fee. If I can’t resolve the problem, you get a full refund. It’s part of my “results and service trump dollars” philosophy.
The standard rescue is AUD $250 and covers the first three hours of hands-on work. If extra time is needed, I’ll discuss options and costs with you before going further. All pricing is in AUD and currently GST-free.
Usually yes. To properly diagnose and fix your site I’ll need access to your WordPress dashboard, hosting control panel and sometimes your domain or DNS settings. All credentials are handled carefully and deleted once the work is complete.
Part of any security-related rescue is hardening your site against repeat attacks. That includes cleaning the infection, applying updates, tightening settings and recommending firewalls or monitoring where appropriate. For ongoing protection, I recommend moving onto a WordPress Maintenance Plan.
Maintenance clients get regular updates, off-site backups, security and uptime monitoring, basic performance tuning and priority support for small fixes. Plans are month-to-month with no lock-in, so you can cancel any time.
I’m proudly based on the Sunshine Coast, but almost all work is completed remotely. Website Rescue operates Australia-wide and most rescues can be handled without any on-site visit.
Not exactly. A rescue gets your site back online and stabilised. If your site is slow but not broken, Website Performance Optimisation may be a better fit.
