What began as creative curiosity back in 2010 became an obsession – fixing what others leave broken: slow, hacked, and neglected sites that fail right when they’re needed most. That obsession grew into my core services model – Website Rescue and Website Performance Rescue – dedicated to fast emergency repair and ongoing care.

Why this site doubles as my résumé

This isn’t a generic agency front — it’s proof of competence.

Everything here, from layout and logic to the custom MU-plugins running behind the scenes, was built by me. Where others show a degree, I show working code

This site demonstrates what I do every day: performance tuning, caching layers, schema automation, shortcode systems, and custom admin tools that solve real-world problems. Over time, I’ll publish short case studies explaining those builds — what broke, how it was fixed, and the results.

Full-Stack Capabilities

While WordPress is my core platform, my workflow spans the full web stack — from database structure to front-end polish.

Languages & logic

PHP (custom plugin and MU-plugin development), JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, CSS3, JSON-LD, REST APIs (including Square, Google, and custom endpoints).

Frameworks & tools

WordPress (themes, hooks, actions, transients, REST endpoints), Gutenberg block development, React (basic familiarity for block extensions), and Tailwind-style utility CSS.

Performance & infrastructure

Cloudflare CDN + WAF, Redis object caching, static asset optimisation, lazy-loading, and database tuning. I’m fluent in staging and production workflows via Local by Flywheel, EasyWP, and cPanel.

Automation & integration

Square payments and scheduling APIs, schema automation (LocalBusiness, Product, Event, FAQ), cron-driven content sync, and custom admin UI panels for speed and clarity.

Design & UX

Strong front-end sense from years in creative design — typography, spacing, brand systems, and accessible layout. I design for clarity first, style second.

Put simply, I bridge design thinking with developer logic — creative enough to craft an interface, technical enough to optimise the server it runs on.

What drives me

I get a kick out of helping good people stay online, look sharp, and run faster than they did yesterday.
Whether that means rescuing a panicked small business or quietly maintaining uptime at 99.9%, my goal is the same: clarity, speed, and peace of mind.
