For more than 15 years, I’ve helped Australian small businesses recover broken websites, fix performance issues, and keep their sites running reliably.
What began as creative curiosity back in 2010 turned into a focus on fixing what others leave behind — slow, unstable, hacked, or neglected WordPress sites that fail when they’re needed most.
Over time, that focus became a clear service model: stabilise first, improve performance next, then prevent problems from coming back.
Today, that focus shows up as Website Rescue for urgent issues, Website Performance for speed and reliability, and Ongoing Care for long-term peace of mind.
If your site’s on fire, I’ll put it out first — then make sure you understand what happened and how to stop it happening again.
Results and service first
My rule is simple: results and service matter more than dollars.
No jargon, no lock-ins, no hidden extras — just responsive, honest work and measurable improvements. If I can’t fix it, you don’t pay.
That approach has earned the trust of small-business owners across Australia — with local reliability from the Sunshine Coast and calm, senior support wherever you are.

How I Fix Real-World Problems
While WordPress is my core platform, my workflow spans the full web stack — from database structure to front-end polish.
Languages & logic
PHP (custom plugins and MU-plugins), modern JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS, JSON-LD, and REST APIs — used to solve specific problems, not build unnecessary complexity.
Frameworks & tools
WordPress (themes, hooks, actions, transients, REST endpoints), Gutenberg block development, React (basic familiarity for block extensions), and Tailwind-style utility CSS.
Performance & infrastructure
Cloudflare CDN + WAF, Redis object caching, static asset optimisation, lazy-loading, and database tuning. I’m fluent in staging and production workflows via Local by Flywheel, EasyWP, and cPanel.
Automation & integration
Square payments and scheduling APIs, schema automation (LocalBusiness, Product, Event, FAQ), cron-driven content sync, and custom admin UI panels for speed and clarity.
Design & UX
Strong front-end sense from years in creative design — typography, spacing, brand systems, and accessible layout. I design for clarity first, style second.
Put simply, I bridge design thinking with developer logic — creative enough to craft an interface, technical enough to optimise the server it runs on.
What drives me
I get a kick out of helping good people stay online, look sharp, and run faster than they did yesterday.
Whether that means rescuing a panicked small business or quietly maintaining uptime at 99.9%, my goal is the same: clarity, speed, and peace of mind.
In short: Kelly Creative exists to keep WordPress websites stable, fast, and understandable — proof that experience, clarity, and integrity still matter — especially when things go wrong.
Why this site doubles as my résumé
This site isn’t a generic agency front. It’s working proof of how I think and how I build.
Everything here — from layout and logic to the custom MU-plugins running behind the scenes — was built by me. Where others list credentials, I show working systems.
