Frequently Asked Questions

Each plan keeps your WordPress site updated, backed up, secure, and performing well. That means plugin and core updates, daily or weekly backups, uptime monitoring, malware scans, and small content tweaks. You also get priority support time every month, so small jobs don’t turn into big headaches.

Around 43% of the web runs on WordPress, and more than half of those sites aren’t fully up to date — making them easy targets for hackers and slowdowns. Regular maintenance prevents these issues, improves loading speed, and keeps your site in Google’s good books. Think of it like car servicing: cheaper to maintain than repair.

Absolutely. All plans are month-to-month with no lock-in contracts. You can cancel or change plans anytime before your next billing date — no penalties, no drama, no reason needed.

If you’re on a plan, you’re covered. Your website will be monitored 24/7, and if it goes down or throws an error, we’ll investigate and fix it — often before you even notice. Emergency issues for non-clients fall under our Website Rescue service, billed separately.

That depends on your plan level:

  • Essentials: monthly updates and daily backups
  • Business: fortnightly updates and daily backups
  • Proactive Growth: weekly updates with continuous monitoring
All backups are encrypted and stored securely off-site.

Maintenance keeps your existing website healthy, secure, and up to date. A redesign means rebuilding layouts or adding major new features — these are quoted separately as project work. Maintenance clients receive discounted rates for larger upgrades.

Large design overhauls, marketing campaigns, or brand-new pages fall outside the normal maintenance scope. I’ll always give a clear quote before doing any extra work, so there are no surprises.

WordPress is my specialty — but I can help diagnose or advise on other platforms like Wix, Shopify, or Squarespace. If a fix is outside our scope, I’ll still point you in the right direction.

Plans are billed quarterly in advance via secure Square payments. You’ll receive a clear invoice with “GST: $0 (not registered)” noted. You can pay by card, and receipts are automatic. Cancel anytime before the next billing cycle.

Yes. Start with my Emergency Website Rescue service — I’ll clean up your site, remove malware, and restore stability. Once it’s back online, we’ll move you onto a maintenance plan so it doesn’t happen again.
